CMR Surgical is a global medical devices company dedicated to transforming surgery with Versius, a next-generation surgical robot.
Working in a rapidly expanding global market, CMR Surgical wanted to design a new website that would engage customers through exceptional and delightful experience design, and become the central platform for marketing and commercial activities. The Versius Surgical Robotic System has the potential to transform surgery for people around the world, and the website needed to reflect this.
Versius, the surgical robot, is elegant and beautiful, and is captivating to operate – this is what inspired the design and navigation of the new web experience. The website incorporates some truly leading-edge design and development techniques, positioning CMR Surgical as a leader in their space, through design, animation, imagery, interaction, and function. The site is fully responsive and includes an immersive parallax home page with strong imagery and video, as well as those all-important details about the Versius surgical system, including instrument range, support, conditions, and clinical evidence.

Built on the Sitecore Experience Platform, the website is adaptive and modular and easy to update thanks to Sitecore’s user-friendly content management system. It includes the key elements of:
- An immersive parallax home page with a clear benefit statement, backed with strong imagery and video
- Details about the Versius surgical system, including instrument range, support, conditions, and clinical evidence
- A section to publish press releases, an image and video library, and an events section
- Information about CMR Surgical’s mission, leadership team, clinical approach, and investor information
- A careers page detailing benefits, current vacancies, and why CMR is a great place to work
- A suite of custom Sitecore components
